LEARN’s 2019 Community Event
On Wednesday, December 4th, LEARN hosted their annual Community Event at Whittier College. The event was a success with a great turn out of community members and our staff. Unlike any other Community Event in the past, we had 5 keynote speakers from our PREP program sites. High schools represented were Mountain View High School, El Monte High School and Whittier High School. These 5 individuals had the opportunity to speak about their experience at the 2019 Summerpalooza program.
The LEARN Community Event is always a great opportunity to network and stay in the loop with what our organization is doing across all of our school sites. This is an annual year-end event so make sure to stay tuned every winter for the Community Event announcement.
